Fees and charges
This section applies only to marine licences.
The Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science (Cefas) is our principal scientific advisor and supports us in a number of areas of work related to marine licensing. As part of our commitment to transparency, we will clearly identify the costs we incur for Cefas’ work.
We are obliged to recover costs for the services we provide. Our fees and charges can be categorised in three broad areas.
Payment must be made at the time an application is submitted. More information on How to make a payment.
